Good Connections Wellbeing Project

Are you having trouble accessing local services? Interested in learning new skills? Looking for advice? Interested in building your confidence and improving your mental health? Looking to connect with others in your community?

The Good Connections service uses local knowledge to help you connect to services and opportunities available in West Lothian that will improve your health, wellbeing and social connections. The Good Connections service is staffed by a Community Wellbeing Link-worker who works with you on a one-to-one basis to identify services and opportunities available in the local area that best suit your individual needs and goals. The link worker will then support you through signposting and referrals to other services.

Examples of the type of the support and opportunities that Good Connections can help you access include:

  • Specialised support and advice services if you are struggling with specific health or social issues.
  • Activity groups to make new social connections in the community, get some outdoor exercise or try something new.
  • Counselling services or peer support groups if you are struggling with a variety of mental health difficulties
  • Volunteering opportunities if you are looking to build confidence or learn new skills

For enquiries about any groups and services, or to book a time for a chat with the Link-Worker, please email [email protected] or phone 07502 884983.
